We were not born into ecommerce. We came from ordinary jobs and ordinary paychecks, and we watched the same videos you have watched. We wanted the freedom: to work from wherever we were, to decide what a day looks like.
So we tried, and we hit the wall everyone hits. Weeks of setup before a single sale. Themes that would not behave. Product pages written at 2am after work. Some of us quit twice before a store finally made money.

The only cost that exists is the Shopify plan itself, paid to Shopify if you keep the store running after your trial.
