"Everything I do for the store happens on my phone between classes. The build was the only part I thought needed a laptop, and it turned out I did not even need that."

Priya, USA · Electronics store

What was the barrier for you?

Time and a laptop. I am a student, I do most things on my phone, and every tutorial assumed I would sit down at a desk for a weekend to build a store. That was never going to happen.

How did the signup go on a phone?

Picked Electronics, entered my email, and the AI built it. The login arrived in my inbox before I got to my next class. I opened the store on my phone and it was already a real shop with ten products.

Why electronics?

Phone accessories are what my friends actually buy. Cases, chargers, stands. The store came with winning products in that space, so I did not have to guess.

How do you run it day to day?

The Shopify app. Orders, fulfilment and messages all on my phone. I post the store on TikTok and in group chats, and I check the app between classes. It fits in the gaps of the day.

What would you tell another student?

You do not need the laptop, the weekend or the course. Pick the niche your friends already spend money on, and put your energy into the posting, not the building.

“No laptop, no weekend, no course. Niche, email, done.”
